Just moved to Ireland. Cookbooks still in transit! Desperate to get my hands on Rose Murray’s recipe for smoked salmon and corn chowder. Was in Casseroles and one pot meals. Need help.
It is our favourite comfort meal and I can’t quite remember it.

I have located a recipe called Smoked Fish and Corn Chowder in my original New Casseroles book. It calls for smoked salmon, trout or mackerel. I think that must be the recipe you need. Hopefully, I have it still in my computer’s documents and will send you the recipe if you give me your email address. I’m glad it is your favourite comfort meal and I wouldn’t want you to miss having it. Rose.

Hi Maureen, Thanks for the lovely note. This recipe is from the newest edition of one I had published in 1991, but it has the advantage of coloured photos of the recipes, a good index and a sturdy binding and cover. The original was a paper back that was not capable of some of the constant use many of my readers talked of. I’m sure you will enjoy the new edition. Thanks again, Best wishes, Rose.
