Garlic Galore

On Saturday, Elizabeth Baird and I will journey to Stratford to take part in their annual Garlic Festival. When we made an appearance last year, I was impressed with the quality of food booths and the abundance of first-rate garlic. Want to learn to braid garlic? Want to learn new garlic recipes? Want to taste Garlic Fudge or Garlic Peanut Brittle? Then Stratford is the place to be on Saturday, the 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Actually the Garlic Fudge is delicious; so is the roasted garlic vinaigrette Elizabeth will make and the simple pasta dish I will make. The Recipe for my Spaghetti Puttanesca with Cherry Tomato Sauce is on my Recipe Page if you want a sneak preview.

We were at the Garlic Festival just to see you Rose!! It was so great to watch you and Elizabeth cooking and enjoying yourselves. You can really see the passion you both have with food. My sister had heard on television you were going to be in Stratford for something, she said, so I googled and found it was the Garlic Festival. All I had to do is mention to Mom & Dad that you were going to be there and of course they were happy to tag along.
I was hoping to ask you but you were very busy, I’ve been trying to find your Christmas book for a while now and have been unsuccessful. Any ideas on how can get one? I have all your others but am missing that one. If you could help that would be great.
Take care and say hi to Kent for me and the kids. Oh, by the way in case you don’t know, its me – Josephine from next door on Norton Crescent, Vince & Ennio’s daughter.
Take care and really good to see you again after all those years.
