On Saturday, Elizabeth Baird and I will journey to Stratford to take part in their annual Garlic Festival. When we made an appearance last year, I was impressed with the quality of food booths and the abundance of first-rate garlic. Want to learn to braid garlic? Want to learn new garlic recipes? Want to taste Garlic Fudge or Garlic Peanut Brittle? Then Stratford is the place to be on Saturday, the 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Actually the Garlic Fudge is delicious; so is the roasted garlic vinaigrette Elizabeth will make and the simple pasta dish I will make.
