Cooking on the Shores of Erie
Last weekend, Elizabeth Baird and I appeared at the Shores of Erie International Wine Festival held at Fort Malden in Amherstburg, Ontario. On Friday night, along with our husbands, we were honoured guests at the Annual Wine Maker’s Dinner. Then Saturday afternoon, we each did a cooking demonstration in the Culinary Pavilion, after which we signed copies of our cookbooks in the Wine Pavilion along with Tony Aspler, Canada’s foremost wine expert. The Festival organizers provided beautiful accommodation right on Lake Erie, so the weekend was also a mini holiday for us.
