Cooking at CTV

Tomorrow, I’ll be talking about beets on my regular CTV Noon News appearance. One of my favourite vegetables, beets are often ignored, but well worth seeking out at farmers’ markets just now. I love them in soups, salads or just boiled and sautéed as I do in my Tarragon Buttered Beets recipe currently on my Recipe Page.  This simple recipe is from my 1983 book Rose Murray’s Vegetable Book one in which I write about Canadian vegetables, give a bit of their history and several recipes for each.
