Waffles

My good friend, artist Sue Sturdy specializes in knitted objects and is currently our Artist in Residence at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts. Her main project for the year is KNIT CamBRIDGE, an imaginative and ambitious plan to cover our Main Street Bridge in knitting! After the knitting is taken down, it will be separated and sewn/serged into blankets and scarves to be donated to charities. Over the years, Sue has created all manner of interested knitted items…including a tea cosy for a car, so I’m sure our bridge will get covered. Meanwhile, Sue has entered an interesting piece of art in an art show in Kitchener….Knitted Waffles. Maple Syrup anyone?
