Making Soup on CTV

Today, in my regular spot on CTV’s Noon News, I’m making Homemade Tomato Soup with Blue Cheese Garnish from A Taste of Canada. After all the wonderful and rich treats of the holiday season, this is a simple, light and comforting food. You might even have a bit of blue cheese left over from entertaining, but if not, the soup is still delicious. In the cafe of  an art gallery, I once had a tomato soup in which there was an intriguing  hint of blue cheese, so of course, I came home to try to replicate it. In my cookbooks, I try to create flavourful, easy-to-make recipes that don’t require going all over town to find their ingredients. This soup is a great example since you will probably have everything you need already in the pantry.  The only exception might be the Spanish smoked paprika that gives it a lovely smokiness. However, it is still delicious with ordinary paprika. For this soup which you can make in minutes, click onto my Recipe Page.
