Our British Friends Cook Up A Canadian Dinner

It is always such a compliment to a cookbook author when readers actually make recipes from your books and report back. Our long-time friend, Aileen Yates along with her friends (and ours newly acquired  from our October visit to Britain) cooked up a Canadian Dinner recently using recipes from my two latest books,

A Taste of Canada and Hungry for Comfort. We shipped them flags to get them in the mood and took them Ontario ice wine on our visit this fall. Their menu was very well put together….Tourtiere Turnovers, Glazed Pork Pot Roast with Tomato Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Old-Fashioned Cabbage Salad and Lavender Creme Brulee with Ice Wine….with a true Canadian flavour.
