The Drumbo Fall Fair

Yesterday, my husband and I journeyed to the little village of Drumbo west of here. We were warmly welcomed at their Fall Fair where I did a little talk and signed copies of A Taste of Canada, Hungry for Comfort and Comfortable Kitchen. It was fun being part of a rural fair again and brought back memories of so many such events while I was growing up on a farm near Collingwood, Ontario.

    Rose,

I just had to send a message to tell you that I made your three cheese meatloaf from Comfortable Kitchen after I saw you at the Drumbo fair. It turned out fabulous! I used ground veal instead of beef and it was so tender and moist.

    Thanks!

    Erin
