“Farm to Fork”

This Sunday, August 30th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Capital Paving will present a local fundraiser at 23 Brock Road South in Aberfoyle to support the Puslinch Optimist Club in the construction of the new Multi-Use Recreational Facility that will be located behind the Puslinch Library. The “Farm to Fork” idea is to pair farmers or producers and cooks or chefs. The farmer contributes the raw material and the cook makes something delicious with it. Guests will have the chance to sample a selection of fine foods complimented by locally produced beer and wine, as well as a sauce made with local whisky. I’ll be appearing and signing copies of  A Taste of Canada from 3:15 to 3:45. For more information, visit the website www.capitalpaving.net or call Bernice Pytlinski at 519-822-4511.
