Beyond the City

Check out the July 2009 issue of an upscale magazine called “Beyond the City” published by Metroland Media Group Ltd. out of Muskoka. Pamela Steel, a nationally known food writer and author of several cookbooks including “Great Canadian Pies” “Great Canadian Cakes” and “Great Canadian Cookies” has written a lovely review of my latest book “A Taste of Canada” in which she also talks of my background growing up on a farm from which we could see the whole end of Georgian Bay and Barrie (50 miles away). Pamela has even included a lovely picture of that view.

    Hi Rose,
My name is Gail Paterson, and I manage a fine kitchen wares and accessories store in Guelph, Ontario where we host cooking classes on a weekly basis. We seat 8-9 guests and invite a chef to come in and demonstrate a themed menu.

We are always looking for new local chefs to come in and teach about their love of cooking and think with your book A Taste of Canada, you would be an excellent fit! We are currently working on our fall schedule and would love to have you included.

Please find below our web site:

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Kindly
