In 1994, Daiene Vernile of CTV Kitchener (then CKCO) asked me to appear with her on the news to talk about food. I have been appearing every month on the Noon News for the last fourteen years, usually talking about the region’s farmers’ crops and the benefits of enjoying local food. On October 16th I will be making a recipe from my new book A Taste of Canada.

Yesterday, Daiene and a cameraman came to my house to tape Provincewide, a show that will be aired on Sunday, the 12th at 6:30. It was a delightful afternoon talking to Daiene who is knowledgeable about food and a fan of my work for years.
